Texas Department
of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation
has approved NAI to conduct impairment
rating testing. The approved
testing is the Texas Examination
of Impairment Rating Skills (“TEIRS”).
This examination measures student
skills and knowledge of the assignment
of permanent impairment caused
by a compensable injury that is
accurately calculated in accordance
with the Guides to Evaluation of
Permanent Impairment, Fourth Edition.
